RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES
| Intern Program | Continued intern program with local college and high school students that has been in force for decads and has produced scores of broadcasters. Did not hire any new interns during this period. |
| Career Presentation | Attended career Presentation Day at Neah-Kah-Nie High School and made a presentation to students about the broadcasting business in Oregon and also in Tillamook County. This took place on January 24, 2006. Represented both KTIL/KMBD and the Oregon Association of Broadcasters. |
| Career/Job Fair | Maintained a booth at Tillamook County's 2nd Annual Career/Job Fair on April 20, 2006. This all day affair brought in students from all three high schools in the county along with residents of the county. This was at 2605 12th Street in Tillamook and opened at 10:00 am and closed at 5:00 pm. Around 50 businesses took part in this Career/Job Fair. |
