About "Tillamook Today"

"Tillamook Today" is a community oriented interview program produced by KTIL-FM every weekday morning at 9:30 am and is 30 minutes long.

Until November of 2005, this time was occupied by "It's A Woman's World" hosted by Northwest radio legend Mildred Davy for over 40 years. Now renamed "Tillamook Today", it is hosted by station owner Van Moe and debuted that first November day with an interview with Larry O'Brian, leader of the Glenn Miller Orchestra that was playing in town that night and has had a topical and diverse array of guests since.

2010 Royalty: Prince & Princesses for the Tillamook High Charity Drive

2010 Royalty: The Prince & Princesses for the Tillamook High Charity Drive before taking to the airwaves on Tillamook Today.

All three Tillamook County Commissioners visit the show at least once a month along with Tillamook County's State Senator and State Representative. The county's mayors are also interviewed on a regular basis along with other city and county officials that are involved in projects. County schools and health are other priorities of the show.


The "kitchen table-like" interviews offer listeners a local daily half-hour of information and entertainment that is offered no where else in the local radio community, but here on KTIL-FM.	2010 Tillamook Charity Drive chairs, co-chairs and advisor.
